Middle School
7th grade canoeSeventh grade students utilized their design skills and scientific knowledge to build a canoe. I collaborated with Cooper School's Project Lead the Way team and All Hands Boat Works to incorporate STEAM in the seventh grade art curriculum. | Mud StencilsDuring the Public Art unit, students were inspired by a local environmental artist named Jesse Graves. Three winners were chosen based on originality, thematic design, craftsmanship, and design. Upon gathering information, students worked together plan a traditional Chinese New Year celebration. Students planned artifacts to build, food to prepare and traditions to incorporate.
